    Max Altitude: 3,700 m

If you’re looking for an offbeat trekking experience in the Himalayas, the Phulara Ridge Trek might just be what you need. Located in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarakhand, India, this trek is a lower Himalayan-high altitude trek that takes you through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the region.

The trek starts from Sankri, a quaint little village that serves as the base camp for many treks in this region. From here, you’ll embark on a 6-day journey that will take you through dense forests, alpine meadows, and rocky ridges. The highlight of this trek is undoubtedly the Phulara Ridge itself – a thrilling ridge walk that offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys.

One of the best things about this trek is that it’s relatively unknown and unexplored. This means that you’ll get to experience the beauty of nature without having to deal with crowds of tourists. The trail is also not very difficult, making it suitable for beginners as well as experienced trekkers.

If you’re planning to do this trek, it’s best to go between April and June or September and November when the weather is pleasant and the trails are at their best. You’ll need to carry warm clothes, sturdy shoes, a backpack with essentials like water bottles, snacks, and a first aid kit.

Overall, the Phulara Ridge Trek promises an unforgettable adventure for anyone who loves nature and wants to explore the lesser-known parts of the Himalayas.
