Day 1 of the trek begins with a drive from Dehradun to Pantwari, which is located at the foothills of the Jaunpur Range in Uttarakhand. The drive is about 4 hours long and offers stunning views of the mountains along the way.
Once you reach Pantwari, it’s time to begin your trek! The trail starts off with a steep incline but gradually softens as you make your way up. You’ll pass through lush green forests that are full of diverse flora and fauna, making it a great spot for bird-watching. As you continue on, you’ll be able to take in breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, making this one of the most scenic treks in India.
